I’m Marley,
A conditionally licensed clinical professional counselor in Orrington, Maine. I provide quality, well rounded mental health support in an eclectic and judgement free environment. I have experience working with clients of all ages who have come to me to work primarily through life's adjustments, PTSD, Anxiety and depression. I take a trauma-informed approach when working with clients and I'm passionate about introducing my clients to a more imaginative side of healing and finding your unique path to mental wellness. Being human is messy, there isn't a handbook we are given with the secret answers to "doing it all right". I strive to guide you through this path together, where I'm able to be a guide and pass along knowledge that will, in hopes, lessen the burden for what may be weighing you down.

Individual counseling
Whether you are seeking to get to know yourself better, have been struggling with feelings of anxiety and depression, or if PTSD symptoms have been running your days, I would love to support you on your path to mental wellness. Through one to one virtual sessions we will take time to get aquatinted, discuss what brings you to therapy and what goals you have for our time together. We will discuss past therapeutic experiences, what worked, what didn't and make a plan to best support you moving forward. I like to bring a flair of the creative arts into session if you feel up to trying something new. There is never any pressure and this is offered as clients desire.
Couples counseling
Do you want to connect more with your partner? Are you feeling like you could benefit from expanding your communication and listening skills? Couples therapy may be for you. Beginning couples counseling does not mean there is anything “wrong” with your relationship, just there are some spots you would like to cultivate and help grow. Your partner and I will meet together virtually. Similar to individual sessions, we will take time to get aquatinted, discuss what brings you to therapy and what goals you have for our time together. We will discuss past therapeutic experiences, what worked, what didn't and make a plan to best support you moving forward.
